I am probably less evolved than you
Oftentimes when I feel drab or uninspired, I think about my extra wisdom teeth. I was 18 when my dentist showed off the remarkable X-ray and explained to me the concept of ‘supernumerary’. Extra teeth are quite rare—especially when they are wisdom teeth nestled way the freak up in your jaw. It was a very exciting day. While five of these eight teeth have since been removed, I do occasionally fantasize about starting a super secret club for people with extra wisdom teeth. Who’s in?
Less interesting, but more personal facts
I grew up in Burlington, Washington. Presently, I reside in Brooklyn, New York where I teach middle school Spanish, covet other people’s dogs, and dream about fine dining. I occupy my time by reading, writing, cooking, training in capoeira, and growing ever fonder of my friends and family.
